Dr. Jerry Hizon from Motion Medical Group will be sharing his expertise on why good nutrition is of utmost importance to cancer patients. Eating the right kinds of foods before, during, and after cancer treatment can help the patient feel better and stay stronger. Nutrition therapy is used to help cancer patients keep a healthy body weight, maintain strength, keep body tissue healthy, and decrease side effects both during and after treatment. Recently, a ketogenic diet has received attention for it’s successes in reducing tumor size. This will be a major focus of linking nutrition and cancer.
Gluteus Minimus Keto Kitchen will be providing samples of low carb, sugar free products. Everything Bagels, Cream Cheese Cookies, Cream Cheese Pumpkin Muffins, and Vanilla Salted Caramel Protein Donuts will be available.
The event will be held at Michelle’s Place Cancer Resource Center 41669 Winchester Road #101, Temecula, CA 92590. www.michellesplace.org. Please RSVP to Melissa at email@example.com or by calling 951-699-5455.
